The World of Venice
Research and inspiration sources that guided me through the world of Venice while exploring everyday life and especially life through a women's perspective.
Carlo Goldoni

Born in Venice in 1707.
His best known play in England is Servitore di due padroni (The Servant of Two Masters).
Goldoni pursued to establish what is now known in Italy as the riforma (reformation).
This reformation meant to leave behind some of the Commedia dell'Arte main features to give more space to the relationship between stage and reality: the characters had to be simple and natural, to reflect everyday reality and to avoid any literary or artificial device.
